7th APAC

About the Conference

The Asian Population Association (APA) is delighted to announce that its

7th Asian Population Association Conference (7th APAC) will take place from 24–27 November 2026 in Hanoi, Viet Nam. This event is being organized in partnership with the Viet Nam Population Authority (VNPA), Ministry of Health and the Vietnam Union of Science Technology Associations (VUSTA).

The conference is expected to convene more than 500 scholars, policymakers, and practitioners from around the world to share and debate the latest insights on current population and development challenges. The 2026 APAC will be held entirely in-person. Alongside oral and poster presentations, the program will feature plenary sessions, expert debates, invited panel discussions, training workshops, exhibitions, and a series of side events scheduled before and throughout the conference.

The Conference welcomes all individuals engaged in population studies – including researchers, educators, and professionals in governmental, non-governmental, and international organizations. Institutions working in the population field are also invited to host exhibits, training sessions, side meetings, or sponsored panels. Researchers and population professionals are encouraged to submit paper and poster abstracts. All submissions for oral and poster sessions will undergo a peer-review selection process.
